Client: Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities/L’Arche
Role: Director/Producer/Editor
For the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities' Storytelling Project, I traveled across the state to produce a series of short films profiling adults living with developmental disabilities, among them an athlete, an activist, an aspiring chef, a musician, and an Elvis tribute artist. They shared their dreams of living independently, their struggles to be seen, and their determination to push back against others' limitations on their lives.
GCDD and its partners hosted screenings around the state for community members, lawmakers, and other stakeholders, using the films as a platform for advocacy on behalf of Georgians with developmental disabilities.
